Four events in the field of Orthopaedic research to attend in person in the fall of 2021 and spring of 2022

EORS 29th Annual Meeting 2021 in Rome, Italy: 15th-17th of September 2021
The 29th Annual Meeting of the European Orthopaedic Research Society (EORS) will be held on September 15th-17th, 2021 in Rome, Italy. The meeting is organizes by EORS in collaboration with the Department of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery of the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. The EORS Annual Meeting provides a platform for individuals in the field of orthopedic and musculoskeletal research, such as surgeons, biologists, engineers, veterinarians to share their passion for research. EORS 2021 will provide a forum where such interested parties can share knowledge and explore the latest trends in Orthopaedic Science and Surgery. The organizing team strives to offer a multiplicity of networking opportunities, among which the possibility to meet and interact with leading scientists and researchers, colleagues in the sector, as well as sponsors and exhibitors.

ICRS World Congress 2022 in Berlin, Germany: 12th - 15th of April 2022
The 16th World Congress of the The International Cartilage Repair Society (ICRS) will be held on the 12th-15th of April 2022 in Berlin, Germany. ICRS’s aim is to promote science and education in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions. The topic for the 2022 world congress is Repair, Regenerate, Restore, Replace, Rehabilitate, Research, Review, Redefine, Rethink. The purpose of the meeting is to rethink the impact of the knowledge and insights obtained so far into cartilage repair and joint preservation on the health system in light of digitalization, transdisciplinary approaches, and globalization. Moreover, the organisers seek to redefine the processes and technology employed in the field against the backdrop of a more complex translational approach and developments related to Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, fake news and social media, and new medical device regulations.
About the ICRS
The ICRS was founded in 1997 as the first and unique worldwide forum for cartilage regeneration and joint preservation. The ICRS is the main forum for international collaboration in cartilaginous tissue research and joint preservation. The founders and members of the ICRS believe in collaboration between basic scientists, clinical researchers, physicians, other healthcare providers and members of industry, engaged or interested in the field of articular biology, its genetic basis and regenerative medicine. The goal of this collaboration is to improve the quality of life of those living with musculoskeletal conditions, decrease the burden of their condition as well as reduce the impact of degenerative joint disease on healthcare systems worldwide by preserving joints and maintaining function.

OARSI World Congress 2022 in Berlin, Germany: 6th – 10th of April 2022
Next year the OARSI (Osteoarthritis Research Society International) world congress on osteoarthritis will take place in Berlin, Germany between the 6th -10thof April 2022. The annual OARSI world congress is a multidisciplinary global forum for all parties interested in innovative research in the field of osteoarthritis from academia and industry across the globe. Among the participants in the congress are clinical research scientists, radiologists, physiatrists, physical therapists, rheumatologists, orthopaedic surgeons, methodologists, various health professionals with different backgrounds, and also policy makers and other professionals.

WCO-IOF-ESCEO 2022 in Berlin, Germany: 24th-27th of March 2022
The World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases is organised by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases (ESCEO). The 22nd edition of the congress will take place in Berlin, Germany between the 24th-27th of March 2022 and will feature a scientific programme that will bring together the world’s leading research in the field of musculoskeletal health and disease. The organisers of the congress aspire to move the field from new understanding of bone metabolism and pathology, to new strategies and options in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.
