Three events to attend in 2020 if you are interested in exchange of scientific and clinical knowledge on osteoarthritis

The European Congress of Rheumatology, the International Workshop on Osteoarthritis Imaging and the Osteoarthritis Research Society International all organise their events in Europe this year.

The annual European Congress of Rheumatology (EULAR) was organised in 2000 for the first time and since then it has established itself as the primary platform for exchange of scientific and clinical knowledge in Europe. The congress takes place in June each year in one of the major European cities. This year the EULAR will take place in Frankfurt, Germany on 3rd-6th of June 2020. For more information on the congress, visit the event website. Unfortunately, at this point in time, the abstract submissions process for EULAR 2020 is closed.

The International Workshop on Osteoarthritis Imaging (IWOAI) was initiated in 2007. The workshop provides an interactive environment for parties interested in osteoarthritis imaging who would like to learn about the topic and network with similarly driven professionals. This year the workshop takes place in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on the 1st-4th of July 2020. You can explore the event here. Find out more about the submission of abstracts here.

The Osteoarthritis Research Society International is a non-profit scientific organization whose goal is to promote and advance research for the prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis. The annual OARSI congress organised this year will take place in Vienna, Austria during 30th April -3rd May 2020. Find out more about the event and the submission of abstracts here.

Our project member Eefje van Helvoort from UMCU submitted the following abstract with baseline data of the cohort for this year’s OARSI congress:
