Three events in the field of rheumatology to attend in 2021
WCO-IOF-ESCEO in London, 26th-29th of August 2021
The World Congress on Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases is organised by the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) and the European Society for Clinical and Economic Aspects of Osteoporosis, Osteoarthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases (ESCEO). The 21th edition of the congress will take place in London between the 26th-29th of August 2021 and will feature a scientific programme that will bring together the world’s leading research in the field of musculoskeletal health and disease. The organisers of the congress aspire to move the field from new understanding of bone metabolism and pathology, to new strategies and options in prevention, diagnosis and treatment.

Virtual EULAR Congress, 2nd – 5th of June 2021
The European Congress of Rheumatology, organised by the European League against Rheumatism (EULAR) is one of the most prominent events in the rheumatology field. The congress provides a platform for knowledge exchange, enhancement of research innovation, networking, debate and engagement while fostering collaboration between researchers in rheumatology. This year, due to the COVID-19 crisis, the EULAR Congress will take place online on 2nd-5th of June 2021. The virtual scientific program will include educational content, which is topical and accessible and will address a broad range of topics such as clinical, translational and basic science. Importantly, there will be sessions devoted to the People with Arthritis and Rheumatism in Europe (PARE) and Health Professionals in Rheumatology (HPR). ACR Virtual Annual meeting, 1-10th of November 2021
The American College of Rheumatology (ACR) organises its annual meeting online this year between the 1st-10th of November. This meeting is one of the world’s premier rheumatology events and provides stellar rheumatology education, as well as outstanding networking opportunities. The ACR exhibits allow for the sharing of the latest advances in biotech, pharmaceuticals, imaging, devices and services between attendees.The program for this year’s annual meeting includes cutting-edge topics in the field of rheumatology, as well as prevention, diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases and related comorbid conditions.
