Work package 3: Cohort & Imaging
Work package 3: APPROACH cohort and Biomarker Validation and QualificationIn WP 3 the defined subtypes in WP 1 will be included in the longitudinal APPROACH cohort. WP3 covers different OA aetiologies (phenotypes) in numbers that fulfil basic requirements for further statistical and bioinformatics studies, which will be performed in WP1.
The biomarkers to be measured in the longitudinal APPROACH cohort will help to further stratify to aetiological phenotypes, which will clearly differentiate patients based on biomarker profiles and place them in an OA severity and progression scale.
